Maranjab Desert

Maranjab is located northeastern of Aran-Bidgol town in the north of Esfahan Province and close to Kashan and Abianeh two very attractive places for tourists so it is one of the most famous deserts in Iran. The caravanserai is about 50 km far from Aran-Bidgol on a rough road next to the “Salt Lake” and it is mostly the main camp for Maranjab explorers. Water and fuel plus some other services are available here. Easy accessibility makes it more interesting for travelers. Maranjab is located beside the central desert, Rigjen, and salt lake on the Silk Road. Salt lake, Wonder Island, Maranjab castle (Abbasi Caravanserai), and sand dunes are some of the beauties of this place.
