Reqez Canyon

Reqez canyon is close to Darab which is located southeast of Fars province. Its length is about 4 km stretched from Reqez spring in the north to south. There are 64 waterfalls and a hundred natural basins in this canyon, but only fourteen waterfalls and basins of the southern canyon are noteworthy for adventurers. After getting to the last waterfall you reach the end of the south canyon. The tallest waterfall of the canyon called Azaraksh (Lightning) with 65 meters in height and the last one is Veda (farewell) waterfall with 46 meters in height. Water depth reaches twenty in some basins.
Wending Reqez canyon is just possible with technical equipment. The suitable time for wending begins from May to October. It needs to drive two hours from the main road and also a two hours hike to reach Reqez Canyon.
